The Wuling Motors Co., Ltd., a prominent Chinese automaker, unveiled the 2024 Co-Creation electric vehicle (EV) series in April 2024. This exciting new lineup caters to the growing demand for practical and affordable EVs, offering two distinct trims: the Standard 410 Edition and the Advanced 510 Edition with the price range from 12,400 to 14,800 USD.
The electric Co-Creation has a special front look: smooth face, sharp headlights, no light strip. It’s the same size as the gas version: 4835 mm long, 1860 mm wide, 1515 mm tall, with 2800 mm between the wheels. It cuts through air well (0.228 drag coefficient) and has cool 18-inch wheels.
Inside the cabin, they have a wide air vent stretches across the dashboard for a roomy feel. Both trims offer a touchscreen infotainment system (10.1-inch for Standard 410, 15.6-inch for Advanced 510) alongside an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster. The 510 Advanced Edition gets the upgraded Ling OS for navigation, software updates, and voice control. For comfort, the driver’s seat is power-adjustable (6-way) and both rows have USB ports. The 510 also features ISOFIX child seat mounts for family safety. Safety tech includes Level 2 ADAS with features like adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning.
The differences between the Standard 410 and Advanced 510 Editions is in their battery packs and driving range:
- Standard 410 Edition: This variant boasts a 41.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, enabling a CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle) cruising range of approximately 410 kilometers.
- Advanced 510 Edition: This higher-range option features a larger 54.5 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, extending the CLTC cruising range to an impressive 510 kilometers on a single charge.
Both trims reportedly benefit from fast-charging technology, allowing drivers to replenish the battery from 30% to 80% capacity in approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on the specific model.
