Mahindra shook up the Indian sub-4 meter SUV market in May 2024 with the XUV 3XO. XUV 3XO brings a stylish new design, tech upgrades, and more engine choices, all starting at around $8,970.
The XUV 3XO looks completely different than the XUV300, especially on the outside. It’s got a tougher look overall, with a new grille, sleek headlights, and a redesigned bumper up front. The sides are mostly the same, but with new wheels. The back is the biggest change, with new connected taillights and a cool light bar stretching across the tailgate.
The XUV 3XO’s interior has a modern dashboard layout and a larger touchscreen infotainment system (up to 10.25 inches) and including other features such as :
- A panoramic sunroof for an airy cabin feel.
- A digital driver’s display for a clear and informative instrument cluster.
- Connected car technology with remote features for enhanced convenience.
- Wireless charging for compatible devices.
- Ventilated front seats for improved comfort in hot climates.
- A premium 7-speaker Harman Kardon sound system for an immersive audio experience.
- A 360-degree camera with blind-spot monitoring for enhanced safety.
Passenger safety remains a priority, with the XUV 3XO equipped with six airbags as standard across all variants. Electronic stability control, traction control, and hill hold/descent control provide additional driving confidence, particularly in challenging conditions.
The XUV 3XO offers a choice of three engine options:
- A 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine delivering 82 kW (110 hp) and 200 Nm of torque.
- A more powerful 1.2-liter turbo-petrol direct injection (TGDi) engine producing 96 kW (130 hp) and 230 Nm of torque, paired with a new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
- A 1.5-liter diesel engine generating 86 kW (117 hp) and 300 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed AMT transmission.
