The Chery Fulwin T9 was launched in China on May 21, 2024, with a starting price of 129,900 yuan (approximately $17,900 USD). It is currently only available in China.
The Fulwin T9 features a plug-in hybrid system that combines a 1.5T gasoline engine with an electric motor. The engine delivers a maximum power of 115 kW (154 hp) and 220 Nm of torque, while the electric motor offers 150 kW (201 hp) and 310 Nm of torque. This combination allows the Fulwin T9 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7 seconds. For the battery and range, the T9 is equipped with a 19.43 kWh ternary lithium battery from Guoxuan Hi-Tech. This battery provides a pure electric driving range of up to 120 km according to the CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle) and a comprehensive WLTC (Worldwide harmonized Light vehicles Test Cycles) range of over 1400 km. It is reported that it takes 20 minutes to fast charge from 30% to 80%.
The Fulwin T9 is a medium-sized SUV with dimensions of 4795/1930/1738 (1741) mm and a wheelbase of 2770 mm. It is available in both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations. The modern face with a solid grille instead of slats. It’s decorated with a neat, cascading stripe and a Chery logo that lights up at night. The back of the car looks similar to its bigger brother, the Tiggo 9, but the Fulwin name is now under the taillights. You can choose from five different paint jobs: crisp white, cool gray, deep blue, mysterious black, and greenish-gray.
The interior is minimalistic featuring a 15.6-inch floating 2.5K central control screen, a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel, and a D-shaped steering wheel, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip.
