Citroen unveiled the stylish C3 Aircross crossover, starting at a budget-friendly $19,788.00 USD in France. An electric version is also coming, priced around $27,948.00 USD.
Citroen’s bringing back the C5 X, and it’s bigger! More space inside (think 172.8 inches long) and a smoother ride thanks to a longer wheelbase. It also sits higher for rough roads (over 7.9 inches of ground clearance). They haven’t shown everything yet, but expect fancy LED lights, big wheels, and giant Citroen logos. Plus, you can swap out colored trim on the front and back for a custom look!
Inside, it boasts a tech-forward environment. A compact digital instrument cluster keeps important information readily available, while a unique two-spoke steering wheel adds a touch of modern flair. For entertainment and navigation, a sizable 10.25-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility keeps you connected. Comfort isn’t forgotten either, with air conditioning and a convenient 15W wireless smartphone charger ensuring a pleasant driving experience. But Citroen prioritizes safety above all else. The C5 X comes loaded with a suite of driver-assistance features, including automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and driver attention monitoring. Additionally, features like speed sign recognition, high beam assist, blind spot detection, a rearview camera, and parking sensors provide all-around safety and peace of mind.
The popular Citroen C3 Aircross is getting a major upgrade with new engine options and features:
- More Power: A base gasoline engine with 101 horsepower is available, meeting the latest Euro7 emission standards.
- Hybrid Option: A hybrid model combines a 1.2-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor for a total of 134 horsepower. This uses a special dual-clutch transmission for smooth gear changes.
- Electric Power: The biggest news is the all-electric version! This eco-friendly SUV boasts a 44 kWh battery that can take you over 186 miles on a single charge. Plus, it can fast-charge from 20% to 80% in just 26 minutes using a DC fast charger.
