The 2024 Mazda BT-50 is a mid-cycle refresh of the mid-size pickup truck that shares its platform with the Isuzu D-Max. While not a complete overhaul, the BT-50 gets some minor visual updates that give it a more modern look.
The most noticeable changes are the new black grille across all trims, a revised front bumper, and an optional “Black Thunder” accessory package for a more aggressive look.
The interior retains its layout but offers new options for leather seats, including heated and cooled options for a more luxurious feel. The infotainment system remains the same, with a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Engine options are expected to carry over from the 2023 model, which include a 3.3-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder engine with 187 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, and a 3.0-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder with 250 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are expected to be paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
Unfortunately, there isn’t confirmed information yet on the official pricing for the 2024 Mazda BT-50 outside of Thailand. Since it’s a mid-cycle refresh with minor changes, we can expect the pricing to be similar to the 2023 model.
