The most significant visual changes are minor updates to the front grille and redesigned wheels. Inside, the cabin gets a Mitsubishi badge and some new graphics, but the overall layout remains similar. The infotainment system is a carryover, with a 10.4-inch touchscreen as the centerpiece. On the tech front, the highlight is the standard inclusion of Android Automotive, which integrates various Google services like Maps and Assistant. This system also allows for over-the-air updates, keeping your software current.
The 2024 ASX ditches the LPG option available in its Renault counterpart and focuses solely on petrol engines. These include:
- A 1.0-liter turbo three-cylinder that produces 89 hp and 118 lb-ft (160 Nm).
- A mild-hybrid 1.3 liter is also offered and delivers 138 hp and 192 lb-ft (260 Nm) with a six-speed manual.
- A 1.6-liter full hybrid with two electric motors and a 1.2 kWh battery, producing 143 hp.
Pricing and Arriving information for the 2024 ASX are not yet confirmed, but expect to start around $24,490 and arrive in dealerships around June 2024.
