Genesis has launched a mid-cycle update for its compelling GV70 SUV that’ll launch in South Korea in May before launching in global markets.
The overall design retains the GV70’s original elegance with a few refinements. The front grille gets a new pattern for both the standard and Sport models. New 19-inch wheels and slightly reshaped exhaust finishers add a touch of freshness. The signature “Two Lines” motif continues to be visible in the headlights and taillights.
The most significant change is inside, with a massive upgrade to the infotainment system. The split-screen layout is gone, replaced with a single, super-sized 27-inch OLED display merging the instrument cluster and touchscreen, this creates a more modern, driver-focused environment and reduces button clutter.
The climate control panel also receives a design refresh. Ambient lighting gets tweaked for a more upscale feel.
The 2025 GV70 is expected to retain the same powertrain options as the previous model. These includes a 2.5-liter turbocharged I4 cylinder engine or a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Both engines pair with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive (AWD) is standard.
