The 2025 Honda Civic got a makeover for the new model year, featuring refreshed styling and a much-anticipated addition: a hybrid powertrain option. This marks the return of the Civic Hybrid to North America after a decade-long absence.
The new powertrain of Civic Hybrid combines a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with two electric motors for a combined output of around 200 horsepower and an impressive 232 lb-ft of torque.
The 2025 Civic received a sportier look with a redesigned grille, bumper intakes, and darkened taillights. For the interior benefits from new tech features, including a larger touchscreen option with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The top-of-the-line Sport Touring Hybrid gets an even bigger upgrade with a 9-inch touchscreen and Google built-in integration, offering features like Google Assistant, Maps, and more.
With the introduction of the hybrid option, Honda has streamlined the Civic lineup for 2025. The EX and EX-L trims are gone, and the choices are now LX, Sport, Sport Hybrid, and Sport Touring Hybrid. With the new 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid expected to start under $30,000 USD.
