Forget subtlety. The 2024 Mercedes-AMG CLA45 S Edition 1 is a limited-edition (only 25 in the US!) performance sedan designed to turn heads.
Here’s what makes it stand out:
The CLA45 S Edition 1 is distinguished by its Manufaktur Mountain Grey Magno paint job, which is a matte gray finish. It also has a number of AMG-specific exterior parts, including a front splitter, dive planes, side skirts, and a rear diffuser. The car also rides on 19-inch matte-black wheels and has red brake calipers.
It is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 416 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. That engine is mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Mercedes-AMG claims that the CLA45 S Edition 1 can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 4.0 seconds.
Inside, the CLA45 S Edition 1 features black microfiber Dinamica seats with orange accents. The car also has a number of other AMG-specific interior parts, including an AMG steering wheel and floor mats.
Only 25 units of the CLA45 S Edition 1 will be produced for the U.S. market, and they will carry a starting price of $82,345 .That’s a significant premium over the base price of the CLA45 S, which starts at $66,550.
